Totally unexpected but I loved CEDX so I'm down for this!

I played far to much of CEDX and I still feel like I have absolutely no idea what the hell was happening in that trailer. I'm sold.

I recently bought Pac-Man 256 on PS4 and I've been enjoying it. It made me think about CE the other day. Hopefully the second one is as great as the first one.

I'm gonna wait for Ms. Pac-Man Championship Edition.

Very curious if people are into this. Really want a good new score attack game to get into.

I have been thoroughly enjoying it, as a big fan of CE DX+. Outside of one map that relies too heavily on jump pads, every level is fun as hell to play. I haven't touched the adventure mode, although really the 5 minute score attack is the reason to play for me anyway. Here's a video I captured if you're curious to see how it compares to previous CE games.

i misread the title. Thought that either the new Pacman has an actual announcer, like Quake or UT or that Dota2 released a Pacman announcerpac(k).

This week's Bombcast with Jeff's impressions of Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 really bummed me out. Even if you discount Jeff's controller problems as something wrong with the review copy Namco sent it still sounds like they didn't improve or expand on what made DX so fun.

im tempted to play more and see if i get into it, but it also seems like they kade the game meedlessly complex/obtuse and muted the other aspects, based on the pretty sizable tutorial. i havent played enough ce dx either so maybe ill go back to that.

I'm not feeling it. Yet.

Played a few more levels today and once that awful jumping one was out of the way things seemed to settle down a bit but I hear what Jeff says about the controls. I'm getting less frustrated as I adjust to them but am still missing turns way more than I ever did on the previous game.

@intraining: Huh, I loved DX and wasn't interested in this at all (since I played so much of it) but that almost looks different enough to get my attention.

This game has an interesting progression. Starts out with a super easy level, then opens up into harder options with other mechanics. Then after that, you close the game, refund it, and play CEDX instead.
