Pac-Man: CE2 reminds us just how special DX was 0
Like most people I spent a fair few hours when Pac-Man: Championship Edition DX was released. The sounds and the visuals came together to create something truly remarkable, it was hard to believe that Pac-Man could be so fun and relevant in the year 2010. Fast forward six years and the time has come for Pac-Man: Championship Edition 2 (keep in mind no DX). As you jump into the game after the short and sweet tutorial, you are overcome with the feeling of fast paced Pac-Man just like you remember ...

I had such high hopes for Pac-Man: Championship Edition 2 (PMCE2). I didn't get into the original version, but I fell really hard for Pac-Man: Championship Edition DX (PCMEDX) a few years back, racking up all the achievements and posting some decent high scores among my friends list. It's a fantastic distillation of the things we love about Pac-Man and turn it just slightly on its head enough to make it amazingly fun. PMCE2... well... it doesn't.The ghosts have gone from a threat to an annoyance...

A great game's legacy causes its mediocre sequel to feel extra disappointing 0
To start off the review, I'm going to say that if you haven't played the original Pac-Man Championship Edition DX +, you should not even consider this game until you've bought and played that game. It is a modern classic, and I find it hard to imagine anybody would enjoy this game more than the original. If you don't like the original, it’s unlikely you'll enjoy this game. Unfortunately, even if you love the first in the series, there's a good chance this game will disappoint you.The basic...
