Known for its Aristocracy in which the ruling upper class manoeuvre about the Orlesian hierarchy (referred to as The Grand Game) and its constant attempts of expansion, Orlais has long been the enemy of many other nations and city-states of Thedas (Location). Orlais is also the primary location of The Chantry (Concept). A playable location for the first time in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
