The Old Monk is the boss character for the final stage of the Tower of Latria (Location). The unique multiplayer aspect of Demon's Souls is shown here as the boss is actually controlled by another player if played online. The player controlling Old Monk is given a bonus auto firing weapon called Homing Soul Arrow (Object), which can later be acquired by visiting Sage Freke (Character) in the Nexus after obtaining (by killing Old Monk and touching the appearing Archstone (Object)) and trading in the required Yellow Demon's Soul to Sage Freke. If you successfully defeat the human player while controlling Old Monk, you will be awarded with the Old Monk's Wrap.
