Set several years after the events of Ninja Gaiden 3 (Game), the body of the supposedly slain Dark Dragon has risen over Tokyo, and from its remains pours an endless, dark rain that has practically turned the city into a wasteland. A high-tech PMC known as the Divine Dragon Order (DDO) has taken control over the remains of Tokyo, guarding the seals of the Dark Dragon and making sure no one else can enter or leave the city. A young ninja named Yakumo, from the Raven clan, is sent to kill a priestess named Seori in hopes that killing her will fulfill the prophecy and wipe out the Dark Dragon for good. However, Seori tells Yakumo that she needs to release the seals so the Dark Dragon can truly be destroyed, and if she dies now, then the Dark Dragon can never truly be destroyed and will haunt Tokyo forever. Yakumo decides to believe her, and helps her escape captivity. Some days later, Yakumo and Seori infiltrate Tokyo to destroy the seals, then ensure the Dark Dragon is truly destroyed and Tokyo can be rebuilt. However, the DDO see it as their duty to defend the seals, and try to kill Yakumo before he can reach them. Ryu Hayabusa (Character) also stands in Yakumo's way, working with some members of the DDO and actively fighting Yakumo for reasons unknown to him.

Gameplay

Similar to other 3D Ninja Gaiden titles, Ninja Gaiden 4 is an action game that largely goes on rails but allows for a wide range of options in combat, often against multiple enemies. Yakumo Weapons
