    ModNation Racers

    Game » consists of 9 releases. Released May 25, 2010

    ModNation Racers is a racing game using Sony's "Play, Create, Share" mantra -- applied in ModNation Racers as "Race, Create, Share". Like other titles in the series such as LittleBigPlanet, it allows players to customize characters, create their own levels/tracks, and share them online on the PlayStation Network.

    Let me know if this does not belong here: 
    Are there any games similar to this (mainly the track creation part of the game) on the Xbox or PC, as i don't have the PS3, but I'm dying to try it. 
    Already tried Trackmania btw.

    Anyway- Micro Machines 96 Championship Edition has a level creator. Of course its for the Mega Drive, but its still similar.

    @Dubi: Trackmania Sunrise is the best track creation game out there, plus it's really fun to play you can do some crazy shit in it.

    Zero Gear is a bit similar on Steam, but nothing's really in the same league as far as I can tell.

    Which trackmania have you tried? There have been significant improvements since the original, so if that's the only one you've played, I suggest trying Trackmania Nations Forever (which is free), and if you like that & want more variety (i.e. different tracks & cars) you could then buy Trackmania United Forever.

    Apart from the Trackmania series which have been extensively mentioned you've got Gripshift (PSP only though) and LEGO Stunt Really for the PC (released ages ago). That aside, I can't think of any other racing games like this.
