Rooker usually plays as violent characters. He has starred in some big movies such as Cliffhanger and JFK always in secondary roles (he plays Hayden Christensen's father in Jumper). Recently, he has starred in the Walking Dead as Merle Dixon, a violent hick who enjoys slaughtering zombies while also being racist.
