Overview
Next Level Games' 3-on-3 Rocket League-like with mechs has players "blast" a "ball" into the other team's "goal" in order to score "points" and win their spacematch. Blast Ball was originally supposed to just be a mode included with Metroid Prime: Federation Force.
In North America, the standalone version is billed as a "demo" that offers full functionality until Federation Force proper is released. The online functionality for the standalone Blast Ball "demo" was shut down in North America on December 31, 2016.
