    Overview

Next Level Games' 3-on-3 Rocket League-like with mechs has players "blast" a "ball" into the other team's "goal" in order to score "points" and win their spacematch. Blast Ball was originally supposed to just be a mode included with Metroid Prime: Federation Force.

In North America, the standalone version is billed as a "demo" that offers full functionality until Federation Force proper is released. The online functionality for the standalone Blast Ball "demo" was shut down in North America on December 31, 2016.

    Modes

    Versus

A single, standard 3-on3 match. Can be played solo (vs AI), locally, or online.

    Training

Prepares players for the Federation Force main game by making them get a mech pilot certificate. Samus Aran makes a guest appearance.

    amiibo

Blast Ball gives players helmet-skins based on the respective characters when scanning a Samus Aran, Zero Suit Samus, Mario (any kind), Luigi, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Rosalina, or Peach amiibo in the Paint Job menu.
