That looks so dumb ...

The game play doesn't look terrible, but god, it looks way too slow. Nothing about those characters looked interesting and the dialogue was cringe worthy. I can safely say that unless some of the characters for MGS appear in the story I really couldn't care less about this game.

Oh, and that name is fucking stupid.

Revengeance sounds like one of those fake video game titles they use on television to describe a generic shooter without running into copyright issues.

This looks awesome. Platinum working on it is sure to make the game great.

Awesome trailer and I'm truly sold on the game now. The music in that trailer (especially as he jumps up on that metal gear and slice it in half) is like reliving the late 80s/early 90s, the typography on that logo is pretty old school as well. Who knows how this will turn out, but have to say I'm pretty excited now.

Put RE before everything. Expect it to explode as a meme.

It feels like they're breaking the cannon of the Metal Gear series. I mean, it always was crazy, but not LOOK AT ME I CAN LIFT A METAL GEAR WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT CRAZY. I love Platinum games, but I feel like they're messing with the wrong universe.

@Jost1: wow Its as if you didnt even read my post. I already acknowledged that the MG world is crazy. But the fact that Raiden can all of a sudden lift a skyscraper tall Metal Gear Ray is just fucking silly. WAY more crazy than just some fat bomber on roller skates.

so you forgot about the part in mgs4 where a one armed raiden stops a gigantic titanic ship full of metal gears and things that explode from crushing solid snake, then? metal gear has always been dumb, rising just admits it freely.
