Overview

Media.Vision is a Japanese developer based in Tokyo that was founded on March 1, 1993. The company is mainly known for its Sci-Fi American Western themed RPG series, Wild Arms (Franchise). In 2008 the creator of Wild Arms and the company's lead producer Akifumi Kaneko (Person) left Media.Vision to start his own studio, Witch Craft (Company). Since Akifumi's departure Media.Vision has developed games primarily for the handheld and mobile market, most notably the Square Enix (Company) published Chaos Rings (Franchise) series for the Apple iOS. Media.Vision has also worked with Sega (Company) on the third entry of Valkyria Chronicles as well as two entries in the Shining series for the PSP.
