    Masato Masuda was the project lead on Pro Wrestling for the NES, and would later create Fire Pro Wrestling Combination Tag for the PC Engine, which spawned many sequels and follow-ups.

    Masuda passed away on March 29, 2014 at the age of 49. His death was publicly announced on twitter by his student, Goichi "Suda51" Suda.
