Masahiro Sakurai is a game developer and is most widely known as the creator of the Super Smash Bros. series. He is also the creator of the Kirby (Franchise) series. He currently works for the game developer Sora (Company), which maintains close ties with Nintendo (Company). After Sakurai made Meteoswith Q Entertainment (Company) for Bandai Namco, he collaborated with Nintendo again for Kid Icarus: Uprising, the first new entry in the Kid Icarus (Franchise) series to see release since 1991. Following that, he took on the ambitious project of creating a new Super Smash Bros. game for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U at the same time.
