Overview
Marche is the main character in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the Gameboy Advance. He is a young boy who has just moved into a small town named St. Ivalice. He is somewhat of a loner until he stands up for Mewt in a snowball fight. After the fight, Mewt and Marche become friends, and Ritz is also impressed and decides to befriend Marche. Soon after, they all get together at Mewt's house to read an ancient book together with Mewt's brother Doned, but the book ends up sucking them all into Ivalice, a medieval-esque world with lizardmen and other strange creatures. Marche promises himself and his friends that they will return to their homeworld, thus starting off his quest. Along the way, Marche makes several new friends and enemies, and finds out that there is more to this world than he had initially thought.
