    Overview

Lucas ( Ryuka in Japan) is a character in Mother 3. He lives in Tazmily village with his mother and father, Hinawa, Flint, and his brother Claus (not to mention his dog, Boney). He only differs slightly in appearance from his brother, despite being the younger brother. For attacking he uses baseball bats, sticks, and his signature PSI attack PSI Love. Because of this, Lucas also has the ability to pull the Seven Needles.

    Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Lucas has appeared in a couple other games as well. He was planned to appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but due to EarthBound 64's cancellation, he was replaced by Ness. Lucas is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. His moves are almost identical to those of Ness.

Lucas' role in the Subspace Emissary has many references to his appearance in Mother 3. When he first appears, he is walking alone in a zoo. All of the sudden the large King P. Statue from Mother 3 attacks and chases Lucas. After running for a while, Ness shows up and the two defeat the boss.

Later, Lucas helps the Pokémon Trainer defeat Wario. After exploring more with the Trainer, they encounter Galleom, who grabs them and flies into the sky, in an attempt to detonate a Subspace Bomb. Lucas saves the day by using PK Thunder to stop Galleom just in time.
