The single most important thing in the world, love is a powerful story telling element that can connect characters or drive a story. There are many video game characters who have fallen in love with someone or something.

Love is a powerful force. When returned, love can be a motivating factor strong enough to allow a person to move mountains and swim across oceans. Nothing is too much for the love of a lifetime and sacrifices by those under love's charm are made willingly and with pleasure. On the other hand, spurned love can drive a person to the edge of a dark precipice. How can one person feel so much and the other feel so little? Spurned lovers often find themselves on the brink of insanity and denial. One step in the wrong direction and their love becomes hate, their passion, obsession. Not to be confused with lust, love is true, stalwart and steadfast.
