A management simulation game for WonderSwan in which the goal is to raise champion racehorses for the G1 circuit. Players carefully produce and train thoroughbreds through a mostly menu-driven interface.

Overview

Kyousouba Ikusei Simulation: Keiba ("Racehorse Training Simulation: Horseracing"), also known as simply Keiba, is a racehorse management simulation game from Bandai's BEC division released exclusively on the original WonderSwan. It is one of two games based on horseracing on the system, the other being Media Entertainment's Keiba Yosou Shien Soft: Yosou Shinkaron (though that's geared more towards helping players predict race results for the sake of gambling). Like previous games based on keiba, it allows players to train a novice racehorse into a G1 champion by micromanaging their training and race choices, while breeding high-value horses together to produce future winners.
