Overview

Koopa the Quick is a giant Koopa Troopa that Mario races twice for Power Stars in Super Mario 64. He also appears for the same purpose in the remake, Super Mario 64 DS. His races appear in the Bomb-Omb Battlefield and Tiny-Huge island. He claims that his home is the Tiny-Huge Island, which makes sense because objects appear much larger than normal there.

Koopa the Quick was replaced by other characters in subsequent Mario games to serve as opponents in races. Il Piantissimo appears in Super Mario Sunshine, while Cosmic Mario and Spooky Speedster appear in Super Mario Galaxy.
