Klei Entertainment is a Canadian, multi-platform developer based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. It was founded in 2005 by Jamie Cheng (Person), an AI developer who self-funded Klei by selling his shares from THQ and borrowing $10,000 from his brother. More recently the studio has been associated with Jeffrey Agala, a long standing director for the cartoon series Atomic Betty, Who has taken position as the company's Creative Lead and has shaped much of the art design since joining.
