The main characters of the Kamen Rider W television series, Shotaro Hidari and Philip use the DoubleDriver belt and Gaia Memory USB drives to transform into Kamen Rider Double. While in this form, Philip falls unconscious and his mind merges with Shotaro's.

Shotaro is a hard-boiled detective of the Narumi Detective Agency. He is dedicated to protecting his home city of Futo.

Philip is a teenage boy genius and Shotaro's trusted partner. The ability to access Double's power comes from him.
