Yusaku Matsuda
Jubei is modelled after Matsuda Yusaku, a well known Japanese actor who is famous for his puffy hair and cool demeanour. A minigame in Onimusha 2, called "The Man in Black", is an homage to Matsuda's role in Detective Story (1983), where he wore an iconic business suit and fedora.
