I remember it coming packaged with my PS2 when I got it back in early 2002. To this day it remains one of my favourite platformers. Anybody else get their first dose of PS2 with this game?

My first game was Madden and Midnight Club...but it was definitely one of the early games...could have been the next game I got after those two, but I can't remember at all.

Not my first, but certainly one of my favorites.

Mine was either Ridge Racer V or Street Fighter EX 3. I can't remember for sure (picked both up the same day). After that was Ring of Red and then I don't think I picked up or played anything else on the system for a good 2 years. Didn't get around to playing Jak & Daxter for the first time until last summer.

My first game was Sly Cooper, but I got Jak and Daxter within a year.

No the first game I played for the PS2 was Devil May Cry.  Though I did love this game enough to hunt down every Precursor Egg and I prefer it over the sequels because Jak had yet to go all "Poochie" with his goatee and angsty dark powers.

No, my PS2 was bundled with ATV Off road Fury 2 and Ratchet and Clank. I sold one of those games,  I'll let you guess which one.

No, my first was GTA 3. 

PS1- Gameday 98 and Twisted Metal, bundled from Priceclub came with extra controller and a memory card as well

Yes, this was my first PS2 game and I fell in love with it. By the end of it I was also a fan of Naughty Dog and have bought and enjoyed every one of their games since. They are the best reason to own a Playstation console.

Nope! Summoner was the first game I played. And on the PS3, Resistance. In both instances, the experience was sweetened by playing on a new console, and I remember them more fondly then I 'ought to.

My first game on the PS2 was Ratchet and Clank Going Commando. I don't remember how long it was until I got this one, but I do remember it being a great game.

This and Rachet and Clank were my first.

That was almost one of my last PS2 games. My very first one was Dragon Ball Z Budokai
