    Overview

    These Silent Hill 3 monsters are very large, very obese humanoids with incredible strength. Its name is derived from its physical appearance being suggestive of that of a cancerous mass. Although they usually move slowly, they will sometimes run towards Heather to knock her down. They can usually be found lying down or sleeping, and whilst in these positions they regenerate their health. They will "deflate" after dying.

    They represent the pain Alessa suffered while hospitalized, and they suggest birth due to their swollen body.
