Ok, so i've just fought Kessler on hard mode and i'm infamous. And i thought it was absolutly impossible. I woiuld get killed by a single blast from his "ground slam" type move. And i was getting frustrated because my main electric blast attack seemed so crap. I googled how to beat him on hard because i hadnt found it this difficult on my first play through on medium and was at the stage where if i kept dying i'd become sick of the game and not play it for months. And i found that if you use the arc lightening power it sucks life out of him like anything....and it did.

Now is that cheating?. That one power made the entire fight so much easier. Still hard, but easy in comparison. I kinda feel like i tricked my way through the fight, even though that power was in the game fair and square.

    What do people think?

It's not cheating, it's just strategy or mild exploitation. :)  I wouldn't get through half the games I do without it!

Things can still be cheap if they are in the game, although I don't really care if it's in single player but some things in multiplayer can still be cheap regardless if they are in the game or not.

So true.  I guess if everyone can use the same cheap exploits that becomes just another aspect of competitively playing the game, but I know how annoying it is.  I rarely have time to play multiplayer anymore, so I indulge in single-player cheap exploiting without too much guilt.

Nope.  You paid your money just like everybody else.  Play it how you want to play it.  As long as you're not messing up another person playing experience, that is.
