Ginkei

The Ginkei fighter plane was originally one of the previous generations of Horai's fighters. Only a few experimental models were ever produced. This particular Ginkei is piloted by Kagari, who fights against the the Divine Ones. The Ginkei is often seen alongside the Ikaruga which is piloted by Shinra during a 2 player game of Ikaruga.
 

Abilities

Genki possesses all of the same abilities that its sister ship, Ikaruga, possesses.  

• When Genki is set to the white polarity it has the ability to destroy enemies of the black polarity much easier and has the ability to absorb attacks from enemies of the white polarity. 
• When Genki is set to the black polarity it has the ability to destroy enemies of the white polarity much easier and has the ability to absorb attacks from enemies of the black polarity.     
• When Genki has absorbed enough of the enemies attacks, it is able to unleash a flourish of an attack which scatters the screen; homing enemies the player may have missed with standard attacks.
