The Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu license begat a series of strategic space sim games from various different developers and publishers. Though the source material and the name of each game remains constant, the actual content and gameplay might vary depending on the system and the companies behind the adaptation. Though most often found on Japanese computers, especially the MSX (Platform) and Sharp X68000 (Platform), there have also been Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu games for the NES, SNES, Saturn and PlayStation consoles.
