    Gilnid is a goblin boss in the Deadmines dungeon of the game World of Warcraft. HIs in-game title is <The Smelter>. He is an extremely talented engineer, but lacks rationale and morality, which ultimately let him to his current employer, Edwin VanCleef. Gilnid's disinterest in politics allows for their working relationship: VanCleef providing for experiments, Gilnid providing results. He is a mandatory boss for completion of the dungeon.
