Edwin VanCleef

CHARACTER

Edwin VanCleef was the leader of the Defias Brotherhood and the final boss of the Deadmines. He was an early target for twinks since he dropped equipment which was excellent for characters level 19 and below.

Cataclysm

It is revealed during the Cataclysm that Edwin VanCleef died when an Alliance party attacked the Deadmines. However the Defias Brotherhood did not die with him. His daughter Vanessa VanCleef, a witness to his death, is consumed with thoughts of revenge and assumes control of the Defias Brotherhood, swearing to take down Stormwind, following in her fathers footsteps.
