Galio, the Sentinel's Sorrow

Overview

Galio is a tank mage type character. He has low damage output and is preferably played as a support character. The innate ability makes preferable to choose a build with a lot of magical resistance. With a good timing the use of his ultimate (which is an AoE taunt dealing damage) can be a teamfight decider. Unfortunately his support nature makes him a very team dependent character.

Abilities

(Innate): Galio converts 50% of his total Magic Resistance into Ability Power.

(Active) : Galio fires a concussive blast, dealing damage and slowing enemies.

(Active) : Galio shields an ally increasing Armor and Magic Resistance and healing each time the ally is hit.

(Active): Galio claps his wings, dealing damage and increasing allied movement speed

(Active): Galio becomes a statue, taunting nearby enemies and storing energy from each attack taken. The energy is then released damaging the surrounding enemies.
