Flora Reinhold

It is revealed at the end of Professor Layton and the Curious Village that Flora is the "Golden Apple" that the late Baron Reinhold speaks of in his will. Professor Layton and Luke find her hidden away in the foreboding tower at the center of St. Mystere. The puzzles that led to her were a test to see who would make a good guardian for the girl since her parents had both passed away and she lived in a village of robots. Professor Hershel Layton adopts Flora at the end of Professor Layton and the Curious Village.
 
She returns in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box as the mysterious figure following Professor Layton and Luke on the Molentary Express. As it turns out she has Tom who they have been trying to find. Later on when the Molentary Express stops in the town of Dropstone she is kidnapped and replaced by Don Paolo until he is found out much later in the game.
