    Hey Bombers,

Heard a huge rumor today. Heard that Far Cry 5 is set in Montana. This pisses me off.

Let me explain the one thing that pisses me off the most about "Montana" games.

    NOBODY HERE EATS HUCKLEBERRY! NOBODY!

Drive to Montana. Ask a single person. "do you have huckleberry stuff at your house to season anything?" NOPE!

But i GUARANTEE one thing! This damn game will have huckleberries in it. Come to Montana, I invite all of you to this beautiful state. Go to the gift store, you'll see tons of Huckleberry crap. NOBODY EATS IT HERE! IT'S A TOURIST TRAP!

Just wanted to vent, and get potential false information out of the way. Also if there is any mention of a town named Butte, that town is an utter shithole and if it is represented correctly, it should be like the fallout nuclear areas you can't live in, in Fallout 4.

Thank you and I hope you all have a great day. Also, nobody in Montana really wears levi jean jackets so if i see that, i'm going nuclear. good day.

    Another thing.

If you go to restaurant and you order ANYTHING Huckleberry flavored, that's code for "put laxatives" in that thing. Because this state sniffs out of staters quicker than shit and the people here want to poison you with crap so you don't come back. Hell, Huckleberries might give you the shits, i have no idea. I've never eaten them. Who knows?! Who really knows if huckleberries give you liquid craps?! Don't eat them!

Far Cry 5 is going to be a weird game! It's literally going to be that you are a waitress trying to convice people to eat huckleberry crap so they never come back. it's going to be a Overcooked situation, but you put laxitives (huckleberries) in the soup. weird.

ok. this game might be kind of good.

@teddie: Couldn't tell you! NOBODY HERE EATS THEM! But i guarantee one thing, this damn game is going to have a trading system or some crap that involves huckleberries and I want you to know one thing. It's a lie!

I though huckleberry was the first name of a protagonist in a book. I never knew it was an actual thing loved and eaten in Montana. You learn something every day.

Don't worry, I don't personally identify Montana with huckleberries... Is that a thing? I mean, I know a lot of people identify Seattle with coffee (which is fine by me), but Montana with huckleberries? Hm.

Huckleberry ice cream is good. I was born and raised in northern Idaho so I've been to Montana more than a few times and I don't remember huckleberries being pushed there. I do remember laughing at the name Butte. Also saw a concert in Missoula last summer and the crowd was full of dip shits and assholes. Good show but the crowd cost us an encore.

I never knew it was to be set in Montana, but I did hear FC5 would have a protagonist called Finn and that the upgrade system was based on huckleberry farming and handling mini-games. The plot is also set around the huckleberry, it's adherents and detractors.

Just today, I was wondering about what a huckleberry tasted like and why people from Montana love it so much so I'm excited to hear your expert opinion. Why is the huckleberry so beloved by all the people of Montana without exception?

So when people say someone is their huckleberry, are they referring to the food or Huckleberry Finn?

Because when someone said he or she is their Huckleberry, I always thought "Hmm, that Huckleberry Finn must be a great guy. I should read that book some time." But now I don't know.

I like that you are happy to say that Montana citizens are insular, narrow-minded criminals who will happily poison restaurant customers from out of state for no reason, but are very indignant about the stereotype I have never heard of that they eat a certain type of berry.

I'm from New York state, and the stereotypes about us loving pizza and bagels are definitely true, though we don'the eat a lot of pizza bagels.

If it makes the OP feel any better, I've driven through Montana twice (stopped, stayed at a motel, ate at diners) and don't remember any Huckleberry-related propaganda. Wyoming, on the other hand... we really need to talk about the jackalope thing.

Also, for something Montanans don't care about, your state government has a lot to say on the subject of huckleberrys.

@frytup: Wyoming is an even bigger shit hole than Montana. But I will not abide someone bad mouthing the jackalope. The jackalope is the only good and pure lie left to believe in. I don't subscribe to santa, the easter bunny or a god. But the jackalope is the only thing left in this world that is good and pure.
