    Overview

    Famicom Grand Prix II: 3D Hot Rally is the second of Nintendo's racing games for the NES, the previous being Famicom Grand Prix: F1 Race. While the first game focused on Formula 1 open-wheel racing, 3D Hot Rally switches the action to rally cars. The player chooses a vehicle and drives across various different landscapes and terrain types to reach the finish line in time.

    A new feature for this sequel is the Hot boost: Collecting items on the road fills a meter that, when maxed, allows the player a significant speed boost for a few seconds.
