Just fired this thing up on my Switch for a couple hours and man I'm loving it! They added joycon gyro support for aiming like Doom 2016 had and it feels good. DOOM 64 already had great sound but it seems like they've made improvements. Guns sound beefy as hell and the music is great. I'm just wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on this game yet? I really hope Brad or any of the duders put it on stream or at least check it out on their own time.

Brad mentioned that they'll probably do something more with Eternal on the Bombcast and I'm sure that'll include them looking at Doom 64.

Personally I'll be focusing on Eternal first, maybe check out 64 on sunday.

I played a little bit of it. It feels good and runs well but Doom Eternal is what's got my attention at the moment.

Picked it up on Steam and enjoying it. Feels a bit more like Quake than Doom though, with so many heavily puzzle oriented levels and environmental traps.

Also, feels like I pushed every single wall on E1M1 and can't for the life of me find how to get that Megasphere you can see on the hidden security monitor.

Everyone keeps saying how great the music is, but is that like . . . something you have to turn on? All I get is some vaguely spooky windy hallway noises when playing.

The switch version has excellent rumble for the guns. It feels so awesome gunning down Demon hordes!
