Extraterrestrials appear in many video games in a variety of styles. Sometimes they're evil, sometimes they're benevolent, and sometimes they're very similar to humans.
Battle Droids are special droids made by the Trade Federation and the Confederacy of Independent Systems to fend off the Galactic Republic before and during the Clone Wars.
In the Star Wars Universe, the Clone Wars, conflicts between the Galactic Republic's Clone Army and the Confederacy of Independent Systems' Droid Army, were the backbone of all events to come. Unknown to most at the time, Darth Sidious controlled both sides and used the conflict to gain power in the Galactic Senate, eventually using the Clones to form his army of Stormtroopers.
The BX-Series Droid Commando is an elite CIS droid unit, used primarily for infiltration and sabotage. They are significantly more competent and dangerous than rank-and-file B1 Battle Droids.
Law makers and fat cats who will sell the population down the river just to gain more power and money.
A catch-all term to describe adherents to the Dark Side of the Force who are not Sith
Darkness is used in games to restrict access, increase tension, or just to set a mood. Often the player has access to a light source that can mitigate its effect.
Also known as a "Destroyer Droid", they are a particularly deadly Separatist droid equipped with a personal force field and repeating blasters.
Sentient mechanical beings from the Star Wars universe, Created and serve many applications from civilian to military.
A theme used very often in fantasy and sci-fi settings is that of a brutal, totalitarian empire or kingdom whose armies oppress the common people. Evil Empires appear under many names in various game worlds, including simply "The Empire".
An evil organization is a group of super-villans who are hell bent on world domination or something of a similar nature. Usually defeated by a single Spy/Superhero/Average Joe/small child.
The First Order is the villainous successor to the Galactic Empire in the Star Wars series.
A fleet is a group of ships, typically military warships, that sail together for mutual protection and to consolidate their power.
A variant Super Battle Droid designed for, well...grappling of course. Much more deadly in melee than the basic kind.
Humans are bipedal, sapient primates capable of abstract reasoning, language, and emotions.
An extremely dangerous and expensive Droid model designed to fight alongside and protect General Grievous and other important Separatist figures. Skilled enough to challenge Jedi in combat.
A race of warriors in the Star Wars universe.
Armed forces. The arm of government that deals with fighting wars and protecting a nation from external or internal threats
In the sky or in the blackness of space, these guys can get you from one place to another, and maybe blow up a few bad (or good) guys along the way!
Red tape is an idiom that refers to excessive regulation or rigid conformity to formal legislation that is considered redundant or bureaucratic and hinders or prevents action or decision-making.
If a person is made of metal and has circuitry instead of a circulatory system, then their game belongs on this list.
Serving as polar opposites to the Jedi, they revel in dark side of the Force and lust power above all else. Sith Lords are identified by their "Darth" title, while lesser Sith and Dark Jedi are not allocated this title.
Built as a stronger, more durable successor to the infamously flimsy and weak B1 Battle Droids, the B2 Super Battle Droids were introduced at Geonosis and saw action throughout the Clone Wars.
Terrorists can be found terrorizing people all over the world of video games. While there is no consensus on how to define the term "terrorism", terrorists are generally considered to be people who express their ideals through violence.
The Trade Federation are a trade imposing group in the Star Wars universe. They have initiated the Battle of Naboo.
War is a series of organized conflicts carried on by force of arms between two or more nations or groups. Whether it never changes or has already changed is up for debate.
