Close Combat III: The Russian Front
Close Combat III is the third game in the venerable Close Combat series which takes us to the Russian Front in command of either the German Wehrmacht or Soviet Red Army, in some of the most realistic combat ever seen in a RTS.
The Close Combat Series heads to the Eastern Front in this installment of the squad based RTS. The game features single missions, multi-battle operations, as well as a campaign covering the war. As in the previous games players will chose what types of squads to bring to the battles ranging from small scout teams, MG teams, assault troops, various anti-tank cannons, as well as a variety of tanks.
Re-Release: After acquiring the Close Combat license, Matrix Games, has re-released an updated version of this game as Close Combat: Cross of Iron.
