Not terribly certain what's going on here, but I stumbled upon this while browsing Amazon today. Since they have listings for both the original and this new, less suggestive box art I'm wondering if maybe they wanted to tone it down for retail stores. I guess since Amazon has both up you can still get the original too.

The Catherine one looks pretty terrible with that close up. Not like the original was something anyone would describe as classy ;P, but that one looks hella tacky and cheap. Especially since it highlights her suspiciously white tongue.

I miss the T&A. These new boxarts look ugly, especially Katherine's one where she's looking at you all weird for no reason. Vincent isn't even in it anymore.

There's only one thing I'm wondering and it's if I can order the one with the original boxart online? I'm importing from a canadian site as soon as possible

I think retailers just get confused when covers aren't blue and orange.

Thinking I'll get the SFW box, just to avoid the shit I'd get from my friends because of the original one.

Wow, maybe this says something about me but I really didn't think there was anything NSFW about the original covers.

Just in case there are people that still think this is a thing to get upset about, Siliconera was able to confirm with both  Nich Maragos and Aram Jabbari (Atlus employees) that this is just an alternate option for certain retailers. The original boxes are still very easy to buy.
