The Capra Demon is a boss and enemy type in Dark Souls. The player first encounters the demon as a boss in lower Undead Burg, who must be defeated in order to gain access to the depths below. It is recommended that you dispatch his dogs before taking him on, otherwise they will cause you trouble all throughout the battle. Later in the player's adventure, these creatures are found in deep in the Demon Ruins. It is here they appear not as a boss encounter, but rather in legion as a formidable foe.
