So, I know I can't be the only one who decided to boot up CoD4 and give a go at the Mile High Club on veteran after seeing Brad struggle through it for four hours. And yeah, it's hard, but I'm feeling pretty good about how I'm doing after only a few runs. I can constantly get up the stairs, and after that it's kind of toss up about how far I get.
I'm curious to hear other people's experiences and general strategies. How are you doing, and how are you doing it? I personally feel knifing bathroom guy, flashing the first room and using the pistol as much as possible early on is key, but other than that I've been playing by ear. I'm sure I'll get a more solid pattern down if I continue, though having already beaten it years ago, I don't have much motivation to go much longer.

Mile High Club: How are you doing?
I got it in 09 I think. I didn't attempt it until until Dec. 2008, I got to the end after 2 hours, shot the dude in the leg not knowing, raged like fuck, then didn't attempt it until Feb '09 when I got it. I got it entirely with the pistol until except for when I was in combat and switched to the MP5 instead of reloading. I found it much easier with a pistol. I kind of want to play it on PC now to see how easy it is compared to using the 360's game pad.

Did it in about 30 minutes back in the day, but hey, I was using videos. Bradly was going in raw.
Going in raw AND ignoring the helpful advice provided by Norm (and Patrick, of all people). Brad was reasonably skilled at aiming, so there was really no need for that to take 4 hours without success, except that he only made one or two minor changes to his plan early on instead of the major changes he needed.
Finished on a 3rd try.
1st floor is the most difficult part because flashbanging after the airplane hole event might not blind everyone.
Anybody uploading it would actually break a couple of laws.Is there any chance we'll see this and Brad's reactions uploaded later for those of us that
are too cheap todon't have the money to pay to see this stuff?
$5 is a week of food for me and I'm on welfare because of ten years with really bad doctors who should be fired resulting in a broke-ass body unable to work but wtf some of these too cheap people..
So I decided to give it a try again. I hadn't ever really tried before because I always assumed that it was beyond my patience level. After about an hour of getting decent runs in (and a lot of cursing in as well) I got to the last bit after the stairs and got one MEGA flashbang off for the very last room. It hit every enemy and I just booked it past them with no bullets left in the clip (barely squeezing by.) My jaw was on the floor as I got a perfect headshot off on the last enemy and preceded to collect myself after jumping out of the plane with the achievement unlocked notification popping up.
I feel like I got a big weight off of my shoulders. I was never serious about Mile High Club but it felt good to get a genuinely difficult achievement without spending too much time on it.
