A path that is displayed on screen to help guide the player to certain objectives.

Dark Souls
After player has killed Pinwheel (Character) and enters the Tomb of the Giants (Location) there are dim light sources to guide player to the right path. Unfortunately these floating light balls don't illuminate surroundings and player either have to defy the darkness or have to find a light source to go forward the treacherous path.
