Bits Laboratory was a Japanese developer that would be brought on by third-party publishers to produce games for a number of consoles. They worked with a number of well-known Japanese publishers, such as Asmik, ASCII Corporation (Company), NEC Avenue/Interchannel, Yutaka (Company) and Squaresoft (Company). They were formerly known as Workss.
