In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Bill is mentioned as an honorary member of being the original inventor of the original PC storage system, and she goes on to mention that she has tinkered with the mechanics to allow for easier use. Upon gifting the protagonist one of her integral specialty Pokemon Eevee, Bebe references Bill as her friend from Johto whose Eevee belonged to him.
