Overview
Axiom Verge is a 2D action-adventure in the Metroidvania style, developed by Thomas Happ Games. The game was released for PlayStation 4 (Platform) on March 31, 2015. A PlayStation Vita (Platform) release is also planned which will support cross-buy with the PS4 version. The game was released on PC (Platform) on May 14, 2015, and will be released on Wii U (Platform) (ported by BlitWorks (Company)) and Xbox One (Platform) (ported by Sickhead Games) sometime in 2016.
Gameplay
Axiom Verge is a 2D action-adventure game which takes heavy inspiration from the original Metroid (Game) and subverts the expectations set up by that. The player controls Trace, a scientist who wakes in an alien world after an explosion.
