Really hilarious episode. These guys need to be on the ago more often. "Your Anime show is gonna suck so much" cracked me up!

Honestly, I'd love to see a Gamespot vs Giant Bomb video games tournament with variety of games. Could be a charity thing even, that'd be super fun.

Not even a Madden fan, but that was a lot of fun. Great UPF!

Really enjoyed this UPF. Reminded me of Whiskey Happy Hour (the original UPF), where the GB crew interacted with other people outside the site. I really miss that aspect of GB and this showed why it's great to have. I know the GB crew has grown to the point where there isn't as much room for guests but it'd be nice if they worked more things like this in.

Piggybacking on what someone above wrote, you slang complainers must hate it when Dave Lang and Johnny V show up. Additionally, Jeff must get on your nerves as well.

Some of you guys sound like real jerks. I realize the mods here are pretty flexible about the idea of constructive criticism, mostly to the sites betterment, but what you're offering is not remotely constructive when you just don't like the way someone speaks. There is really no reason to share those kinds of thoughts other than to be an ass.

The irony that Brad, for years was jokingly referred to as 'the anime editor,' and is now the only one not into anime is not lost on me.

I really liked this UPF. I know it's probably too hard to do, but would love if UPF became a guest-oriented show. Like, at least one guest per week, just to change the dynamics of the show!

I'm also frightened that I'm tempted to get the new Madden, only cause I've enjoyed foolsball games in the past and haven't really played one since nfl 2k5. Can't say who my favorite squadron is, though. Sad they don't make 'em for PC anymore.

This was fun, and I'm definitely going to check out the game Will played , looked right up my alley. Also, Michael seems sweet and it's a bummer that there are some real shitty comments about a dude who's clearly excited to be on UPF, and is a fellow fan of the site. Show some fucking hospitality.

It's comment threads like this one that make me understand why there's a fair amount of grumbling from both the on-air/screen folks as well as community members about the way comments have been going on this site lately.

On the bright side, I take it as a sign of Giant Bomb's success and increased reach/community.

If the mods come through and clean up some of the more pointed personal attacks in here, this comment will probably look very hyperbolic.

Great UPF, have these guys on more often

I went to SF for the first time last month and the Mexican food is not good at all. The best I had was La Taqueria and even that was middling. We have better stuff in Miami where there are virtually no Mexican folks. Nothing beats true Tex-Mex though.

This was the best UPF in recent memory! Dave and Michael and Will are all great!

This DLC of Prey seems super intense though... It gets harder the longer you take to get through with the characters... and there is a big final challenge that requires you to use everything you've learned and escape with all characters for real in one run. So if you pick up and use something with one character... it won't be around for the next.

I had actually a lot of fun watching this UPF. It's good to mix it up every now and then. I miss when people would randomly show up like Alexis or Mary.

Love the new guys on this. Dave is funny as hell.

I was wondering the same thing. There's never any info if you miss the live stream. When I miss it on friday my whole weekend feels off..

All the comments about that guy's speech remind me of all the vitriol that was spewed every time that one Irish dude joined a UPF or Quick Look, or every time all of the regular crew used the word 'like' way too much all of the time.

I understand that slight changes to the comfortable norm can be hard to handle sometimes, but the apparent desire to share that on the internet is beyond me. That said, I have undoubtedly done it myself, but still, it's stupid. I'm a stupid person.

Madden '08 Fantasy Challenge Mode has some weird bonkers stuff in it.

Also, to Michael, Nillasca, @unastrike, @will, and @brad, you can hide your play by holding the selected play button and then continuing to flip through to a random page and letting go. That's been a long standing feature.
