I love me some Tekken. Oh, and yeah Tekken Tag was one of my favorites of the series. So many great memories.

Man, the intro cg bringing back my playstation memories. Tekken Tag was great as I could co-op it with my friend since we didn't like to versus mode. Tekken bowl, this is like a QL throwback. Also, I agree with Ryan. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO JIN AND KAZUYA

many people are buying the game for the demo cuz...full game wont be coming out till a long long time (namco gonna milk those profits from the arcades for awhile)

nice to see Jeff knowing a 10-hit combo but they werent able to show you some of the crazy shit you can do in Tag 2

and yes you can do this in the demo. gameplay mechanics from the full arcade verson are all there (including a special type of tag that involves your 2nd character flying in superman style).

Well if Jeff dosn´t like when one character of a Tag-team goes down means the end of the round then Street Fighter X Tekken is gonna be in trouble.

Hey, why don´t you guys add a games releasedate to the "dig deeper into" section? Would be nice for upcoming games as well as classics. Anything related to people could leave this info out (or insert the date of birth for extra fun!)

I saw the Tekken Blood Vengeance movie in the Cinema. It shows Jin and Kazuya in their Devil forms and they fight each other. As you would imagine, it is completely ridiculous.

Actually, that costume is only for the Tekken Hybrid demo. In TTT2 Kazuya just looks like Kazuya.

Man I hope Im not alone in hating the monsters characters in Tekken Devil Jin was bad enough , at least there will be a regular Kazuya, damnit Namco nobody likes to play with the mosnters that´s why there´s only one in Street Fighter bring more guys like Lars , Alisa or Miguel not those freaks.

Tekken is and always has been my favorite fighting game series. I just love the crazy characters and stories and while I'm not very good at it I can appreciate the fighting mechanics from a distance.

Y'know what this quicklook made me remember? I like Tekken. I like the fighting and the characters (never the music, but the techno/dubsteb in this is really winning me over) and would totally consider getting the real Tag Tournament 2 when it's released. Especially since I never wound up getting Tekken 6.

I just wish that they would go all out when it comes to the characters speaking their native language. Basically, I want Lars to speak Swedish, NO COP OUTS NAMCO! (Xiaoyu speaking Chinese would be a plus as well.)

Ah, nostalgia.  I owned Tekken Tag before I had a PS2.
 
The amount of hours I put into the game with my buddies is ridiculous and unhealthy.  Both of those things, man!

Ugh they chose the worst characters to choose for this demo and it doesn't lend to this quick look at all. Two words, Phoenix Smasher.

In case people didn't notice: the characters in the "demo" are all in the movie, that's why Kazuya and Devil Jin look so ridiculous, it's how they look in the movie. They look just like they've always done in TTT2.

I also think Jeff doesn't know just how popular the original Tag was, plenty of people excited for this.

I saw that movie. The first 5 minutes and last 25 minutes are amazing action scenes split up by a solid hour of generic anime high school bullshit involving nothing interesting at all, and centered around a character you've never seen before and who ends up not mattering at all in the end.

I remember taking my friend's copy of Tekken Tag Tournament because he didn't want it anymore. I remember hating it because the arcade mode was insanely hard. Still have it somewhere...

40 Bucks really!? Wow seeing this makes me think UMvC3 isn't that bad of a deal, watching this solidify my choice for buying UMvC3.

Why does this exist?! Now people will remember just how shit Tekken Tag was. I doubt that'll boost sales of the follow up.

Or is the HD remake only included so people can compare with the demo and gawk at how far they've come since 2000?

Most of the characters in 6 speak in their native tongue and in TTT2 Miguel, Christie, Eddy, Leo and Lili will also do that.
