Rudy Guy is an American basketball player who plays the position of forward in the NBA. He went to college at the University of Connecticut. He was drafted eight overall in 2006 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. Days later he was traded with Stromile Swift to the Memphis Grizzlies for Shane Battier. Rudy strong play in his first year earned him a selection to the NBA All-Rookie first team. Rudy was traded to the Toronto Raptors in three team deal involving numerous players. A year later, he gets traded to the Sacramento Kings. After playing four years with the Kings, he suffered a season ending injury with a ruptured Achilles tendon. The following season he signed with the San Antonio Spurs as a free agent. He signed an extension with the Spurs in 2018.
