I highly recommend reading up on Icy Veins if you want information about your class specifically. https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/ It might not always be the most accurate but it's a good starting point if you want basic information about class play styles and rotations.

Don't forget that if something is too hard for you to look in the custom group finder. With the new leveling experience in pre-legion content I doubt that will be an issue.

Also as soon as you get the quest to go to the Broken Isles do. You're artifact weapons and gear you'll earn are far superior to anything you'll have Heirloom wise (if you have those). And don't be intimidated when you reach 110. Unlock world quests so that you can immediately unlock all your AF weapon traits. There's a ton of things to do but you can basically ignore Suramar and Legionfall until after you have gone to Argus. The Argus quest line will kind of suck until you start getting 880 gear but once there you'll breeze through most of the stuff after a few quests.

Cautiously optimistic but I know a lot of people are tired of three years of "No, wait, THIS is the expansion that's going to fix the game!" kind of stuff.

Cautiously optimistic as well but this might be the expansion to get me to play Destiny 2 for a small amount of time though

I think reporters (actual games reporters like Schreier at Kotaku and Patrick at Waypoint) should report on things if they find them--after all, that's the reason they have sources and do that digging. It's also nice getting "real" information about a game, since PR cycles tend to hide important stuff like gameplay details until far too late, in my opinion. Just announcing a game exists does very little for me, except in extreme circumstances such as a new Nier game getting revealed out of nowhere. I want actual particulars about what kind of game is being made and real gameplay footage, not another meaningless CG trailer.

At the same time, I don't like all the E3 surprises getting revealed before the actual show, as it takes away from a lot of the magic of that show. Those "Holy shit, they're making...?!" moments are some of my favorite historically, and I'd hate to see them disappear entirely due to everything leaking early and being reported. E3 is already becoming a less interesting show with companies doing their own events, and the lack of impactful reveals might just kill it off entirely.

I guess I'd like to see more companies reveal their games earlier, before leaks can happen. Also, they need to do it in more honest ways: showing actual gameplay, giving actual details about what games are (looking at you Fallout 76), and not leading consumers on with strings of pointless teaser trailers and non-information. Lots of things would have to change about the culture around publishers showing their games, mostly in how skittish they are with showing anything before the game is actually out, but it would only benefit the actual paying customers, in my opinion.

Whether you know something from a source or not does not make it okay to report on it without your sources consent. You can easily know or hear something report on it and cause damage to you or your source. This ACTUALLY happened to Patrick a long time ago which he wrote a good article on about on Waypoint. https://waypoint.vice.com/en_us/article/9kwq3a/ten-years-ago-i-almost-got-someone-fired-while-reporting-a-story

Personally I don't give a shit about leaks but I think it sucks for a company planning marketing around leaks. It's like going to a surprise party, which I hate, and being told as you are on your way there that its a surprise party. Sure it's nice that the party still happens but the moment of the surprise is gone.

Look they can do an annual franchise of this if they want and chances are I will continue to play all of them. However I feel like if the rumors I'm hearing surrounding this are true it could be interesting.

Dialog options, if meaningful, could really lend a nice twist to the series. Ancient Greece is an interesting enough place to have an AC game though I can't remember what happened to Greece after Rome took over but I do remember Athens still being the forefront of knowledge during the Roman age.

In answer to your questions:

1.) I don't like it as there are definitely some lessons they could be learning from Origins to put into Odyssey but it doesn't deter my excitement.

2.) I think being a generic ass Assassin makes more sense as you can have other characters that push the story forward that you are working for or with. It could allow for a more personal connection with the game than outright playing the main protagonist.

3.) Ancient Greece (aside from Crusade Era Medieval times) is my favorite in ancient history.

Baird has the funniest moment in game I've played ever. I laugh every single time at his delivery on this.

Also Baird is the greatest Gear and marries the best female gear so yeah Baird is great.

Homefront starts in my home town but let me tell you nobody from Kaos Studios came and looked at the town. Not a single piece of that game looked like it.

@wheresderrick: Whether or not Rage 2 has co-op will definitely be an important factor.

Agreed. This is a must have for me and if not I will be skipping.

Bethesda's confirmed it, gameplay trailer is coming tomorrow. So far tonally it looks more in line with Borderlands, maybe even dumber? I dont remember the tone of the first game.

Count me among the people who are sad that this didnt make it as an E3 reveal as I would have loved to see GB's reaction to this. That Halo Wars 2 announcement was fucking perfect.

Youtube transitioned from that to Childish Gambino's This is America. Couldn't think of anything more relevant.

What if this is actually good? I'm interested in seeing gameplay as I thought Rage's gameplay foundation was pretty good but the story pretty boring.

Also I'd bet good money this comes out before Crackdown 3.

@imhungry: Yeah because the best part of beating Final Fantasy 1 is not having to play FF1 anymore.
