The Other Games
Not in database
- EGGNOGG - Super fun local 2-player multiplayer game that keeps you wanting to play more and more. Deffo check this one out. Best party game I've played in a while.
- Dots: A Game About Connecting - A puzzle game for phones like many others, but because of its clean look and simple mechanics, it drew me in. My commute game of choice.
- Salty's Dream Cast Casino - Turning the chaos of the MUGEN scene into some sort of faux-malicious virtual betting game. When it gets its hooks in, you're screwed. Never bet on DBZ.
Other 2013 games
- Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine - Fun chaotic local multiplayer burgler-'em-up, where teamwork pays off well. Bit of a learning curve to understanding all the mechanics, but it's a ton of fun.
- Bubsy 3D: Bubsy Visits the James Turrell Retrospective - GHOST LEVELING
- Audiosurf 2 - It's still Audiosurf, and it's still in early access. Not much has changed from the previous game, but it's new Wakeboarding mode is a decent new gimmick to play around with. Play "mrSimon - Mental" in Mono Elite if you want to FEEL.
Pre-2013 games I played a bit off
- Beyond Good & Evil - I felt compelled to go back to this cult classic and play through it. Surprisingly good, after all these years. Positive reinforcement, the game.
- Castle Crashers - I've only just now started getting through this game together with a friend. Is good.
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - This got released on Android earlier this year, with the added feature of HIDDEN PALACE ZONE WHUUUUT? Suffice to say, it's Sonic 2 on a touch screen. Uhehhehee touch screen but it wasn't terrible 10/10 it's ok
- Fez - It does exploration of its world so fantastically well. I also have four copies of it.
- Worms Ultimate Mayhem - Out of some weird sense of nostalgia, I played through the very short Worms 3D campaign that existed in Ultimate Mayhem. I've realized how clunky Worms played in 3D, but I wasn't really have as bad of a time I thought I was going to have. It got me to buy the soundtrack, at the least. Worms Revolution is better.
- Paper Mario: Sticker Star - Ambitious with its game-play mechanics, it takes the paper-craft theming to the next level. Visually and sound-wise excellent, it's a shame it didn't mesh that well with my notion of what a Paper Mario game is. I don't know if that says more about me or the game, but if you're up for a game that is about straight puzzle-solving, adventure game style, give this game a go!
- Street Fighter X Tekken, Rayman: Jungle Run, Cave Story - Sorry, no comment.
- Battlefield 3, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2 & Left 4 Dead 2- My go-to multiplayer shooters. Nothing especially exciting with these games being on this list.
