@mortuss_zero: Gladius! I was going to post that if no one else did. I played it on gamecube but I agree, it's one of my favourite srpgs as well. Such a good game.
I'm not sure that this would be a desirable feature to implement either. Being exposed to other peoples' points of view, especially if they annoy you or are contrary to your own, allows you to grow and evolve as a person. Isn't that what we try to foster in this community to some extent? Discussions and conversations between people of all types? Being able to filter out specific people leads to people participating in discussions where they haven't seen everyone's points, resulting in incomplete and difficult discourse. Additionally it leads to "preaching to the choir" where you only partake in discussions with those who are of a like mind which happens all too often on the internet anyway.
Of course none of this is relevant if you're referring to troll posts but hopefully moderation already takes care of that problem.
I very much support this cause. There are definitely many, many issues with how indigenous people are depicted and treated in North America. However, there's money involved here so I don't see this changing anything, regardless of how just the cause is. Additionally I did not sign the petition because I'm not comfortable with giving them my address as they reserve the right to send me junk in the mail (my tinfoil hat only protects me against aliens so I have to take these precautions :P). Yes, I realise that it's an authentication thing to make sure that you're not spamming signatures but it seems a bit excessive maybe?
I think SummerJammers is a fantastic name and not at all too injokey considering that this is a Giant Bomb themed project. Aside from that I think it's pretty catchy.
Hey guys, I've just started playing this game and I'm having a good bit of fun with it. I'd like to get an invite to the clan once new spots are available. I'm still super new and don't know what I'm doing but the game seems pretty cool so far. The only unfortunate thing is that my internet is a bit shoddy at the moment but that situation should clear up soon.
I've been getting back into GW2 after being on hiatus since late last year. I wasn't really able to get into the game like I was with Guild Wars so my characters are all still pretty low level. I think the reason for that is that I wasn't able to find a fun, active guild so I'd like to give the Giant Bomb guild a try. I've been with Giant Bomb since the start but mostly as a consumer of content and lurker on the forums. I'm currently on the Northern Shiverpeaks server but I'd consider switching to Yaks Bend after a bit. Hope to see you guys in game!
The mind boggles when trying to comprehend this thread. Being colour blind doesn't mean that things of a certain colour that you can't see just disappear...if that's what you're trying to get at...?
