As far as the design, I'm getting slowly more used to it. At first I was turned off completely by it, but I recognized that part of that was being used to the old design for 7 years. The only two points of criticism I have are the lack of recent forum posts on the main page (this was super useful) and the lack of a light theme. Sorry, but I don't like having white text burned in my retinas after reading the forums for a bit... It's fun as a goof to argue which theme is better, but my eyes actually hurt from this. I don't think it would be as bad if the text blocks weren't darker than the outside area. Like, I use the dark discord theme and it's always been fine.

An example:

Earth Defense Force? Or maybe that new Sonic the hedgehog movie. I've seen little enough about that that it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to make it gritty or something.

When you edit a post it will revert everything to doubled spaces even after you've set them to be otherwise, so be warned. I've had entire posts messed up (at least messed up in the sense of how I wanted them to be viewed) because of this. Not really an issue though, just be mindful.

Destiny 2... still. Festival of the lost is happening, so it's something of the spooky variety at least.

Is this all really bad stuff to hear? Yes. Am I going to abstain from playing a game I've been waiting for for years just to take a moral stance and vote with my wallet? I hesitate to say it, but no. I like the idea of waiting for 6 months and picking it up cheap, but I have another factor of my decision here. Red Dead is bundled with the Ps4 pro I preordered, so I'll be getting it at no extra price (the amount I'm paying for it is the same as a standalone pro) and I'm not gonna go cancel that thing now. With all that said, I totally respect those that choose to hold off on it.

I say go for it! I've got the same one preordered. I can tell my rickety launch Ps4 is barely holding on.

I'm glad I'll finally be able to change my boring, simple name I made when I was a teenager to my more recent boring, simple online handle I use everywhere else.
