I started reading Berserk in my early teens too, my poor mom would drive me an hour across town so I could get the next volume from this strip mall kiosk. I haven't read it in a while but I ordered the last 6 I was missing last night after seeing the news, RIP to Miura.

@cloudymusic Hey have you managed to link up with @namerson23 ? If not, should we go ahead and play ours? Not sure how long we should wait.

@bladeofcreation: To be fair to the author, they do make that distinction about Alex and twitch streamers. Also, Patrick gets a salary and benefits (I assume) working for Vice so he's not really the same either. I get your point though.

I thought it was an interesting read. The one comparison that struck me as off was equating labour spent on open-source software to that of Uber drivers. Open source software is free and runs off donations so people working to improve it are contributing to a collaborative effort that has already helped them avoid paying for expensive alternatives. I'm not really seeing the connection between that and the gig economy or Uber drivers being overworked/ and incentivized to benefit higher-ups.

edit: to be clear I still thought it was very neat! thanks for sharing OP

Sign me up! My arena name is fischer5#52969. I'm good with any format but standard or brawl would be best (don't know about everyone else, but my card pool for historic is a lot smaller).

I beat Maneater on the ps5 and also ran into the same thing, the combat has you making a lot of awkward hand movements repetitively and I started getting hand strain from it too.

I also recently turned off vibrate on destiny 2, I use this gatling gun thing and the vibrate is intense and after a while the controller starts slipping out of my hand. I find it a bit harder to keep a grip on it than the ps4 controller, but I still like it overall.

I'm still annoyed that I can't get Warioware Mega Microgames on 3DS because I'm not part of the ambassador program.

edit: or Minish Cap!

I only played about 45 minutes but my initial takeaway is that it feels like Onrush, except I preferred driving in a straight line instead of in circles. It seems too both chaotic and not chaotic enough, I'm mostly driving around aimlessly trying to hit other cars but am missing the weapon stuff that a Twisted Metal game would have. I also found the voice chat thing weird but muted my mic immediately and couldn't hear anyone else either.

The on-foot portions are confusing, I haven't managed to jump on any cars in multiplayer yet but it feels like you don't have enough to do otherwise. You can't really interact with the other on-foot drivers. There are also so many characters to choose from, and it's hard to visually read what they do in a match. The game tells you to do the tutorial for each one but it's pretty overwhelming.

I'll give it another shot because the art looks cool and I haven't really grasped it but I came away from it confused.
