As a European it kinda sucks a big chunk of it isn't legally watchable on it because of licensing issues. Unlimited Anime is kinda a false advertisement. ;p
Luckily the couple of shows I do watch are on there.
I would buy more Anime DVD's and box sets if they weren't mostly 70 bucks for like 5 episodes.
Progress bars are not accurate enough to mark it on the 0.2 second, especially with different streaming services or media players if you downloaded it because not everyone is able to stream the 40's movies, like me. Even finding a good download was hard for a movie this old and obscure.
Usually what I do when I'm a bit out of sync is that I press pause on the podcast for 2 seconds and then resume, it usually syncs up with the movie then.
The hassle starts when you have to get to the bathroom for a bit or get some drinks and snacks and have to pause and resume both.
I ordered the Giant Bomb @Nite mug and I told me parents it from a website about videogames I'm part of for about 10 years and it's a collectors item.
Other than that I don't really bring it up for that reason, I'm also not introducing it to people because recommending something personality based is hard enough, let alone recommending and explaining what Giant Bomb is and does.
I'm fine with just me enjoying my time here.
Sometimes my mom walks in and sees me watching a Quick Look or a stream and thinks I'm playing a video game, the concept of a podcast is pretty unknown to them which on its own was a rough thing to explain.
Not really, even if it might be good. The moment Netflix shoves an auto playing ad that takes up half the screen in my face of one of their shows it's an instant turn off for me.
Even if GB was hiring, I'm pretty sure Mahardy is still pretty happy with his current job. You just don't steal people from other companies to work for you.
Hey I'm not sure if this is the right place or if there's a right way to do this , I could not find any other thread but I made this emoticon of Dan doing the chair dance for chat if anyone wants to use it.
